Axiomtek Launches CAPA332: A 3.5” Embedded SBC with Triple Display Support and Flexible Power Options
The new Intel N97/N150-powered single board computer packs five display interfaces, dual 2.5GbE, and three M.2 slots into a 146 x 104 mm footprint for industrial and edge applications.

Axiomtek has introduced the CAPA332, a compact 3.5-inch embedded single board computer (SBC) built around Intel's Processor N97 or N150, targeting system integrators who need display flexibility, scalable power input, and modular expansion without moving up to a larger form factor. The board measures just 146 x 104 mm but supports up to three independent displays and a broad set of legacy and modern I/O, positioning it for long-lifecycle embedded deployments.
The standout feature is display versatility: the CAPA332 offers five display interface options — HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort, dual LVDS, and eDP — allowing integrators to drive up to three screens simultaneously without converter boards. This matters for OEMs maintaining product lines that mix older LVDS panels with newer eDP or DisplayPort monitors, since it removes a common integration bottleneck and shortens redesign cycles when panels change.
Power architecture is similarly flexible. The board accepts 12V or 19-24V DC input, with an optional 12V-only configuration available for volume deployments where cost optimization matters more than wide-range input tolerance. This lets integrators match the board to existing power infrastructure rather than redesigning their power supply chain around the SBC.
Expansion is handled through three M.2 slots — Key B, Key E, and Key M — covering 5G/4G modules, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and NVMe storage respectively. Combined with dual Intel I226-V 2.5GbE ports, USB, SATA, RS-232/422/485 serial, GPIO, audio, and onboard TPM 2.0, the CAPA332 covers most connectivity needs for kiosks, gateways, and automation controllers without requiring daughterboards.

Axiomtek is positioning the CAPA332 for medical equipment, industrial automation, smart kiosks, gaming machines, transportation systems, smart retail, edge AI systems, and industrial IoT gateways. The emphasis on power efficiency, backward-compatible display interfaces, and modular wireless/storage expansion also supports longer product lifecycles — a consideration increasingly relevant as OEMs look to reduce hardware churn and e-waste across fleet deployments.
"Modern embedded systems need to balance performance, flexibility, and long-term usability. The CAPA332 gives system integrators greater flexibility in display selection, power design, and system expansion," said Michelle Mi, Product Manager of the EDS Division, Axiomtek.
With its wide temperature rating, dual 2.5GbE networking, and triple-display capability in a sub-150mm footprint, the CAPA332 fills a practical niche between compact pico-ITX boards and larger 3.5-inch designs that compromise on I/O. The flexible power options also make it easier to standardize a single board design across regional deployments with differing power infrastructure.
