Neousys Technology has launched the Nuvo-2860VTC, a compact fanless in-vehicle computer built around Intel's Atom x7425E processor. Measuring just 206 × 144 × 65 mm, the system is designed to handle real-time video processing, vehicle data acquisition, and fleet connectivity in a small, low-power footprint suited to space-constrained vehicle installations.

The headline feature is the unit's connectivity design for demanding vehicle environments. Nuvo-2860VTC integrates four M12 GbE PoE+ ports, giving integrators mechanically locking, vibration-resistant connections for Ethernet cameras and other PoE-powered peripherals. By delivering power and data over a single M12 cable run, the design reduces the separate power wiring typically required for camera installations, simplifying cabling in multi-camera vehicle setups.

Beyond the PoE+ ports, the system includes dual SocketCAN ports for vehicle bus integration, two USB 3.2 ports, and a multi-mode COM port for sensors and legacy peripherals. Expansion is handled through one M.2 3042/3052 B-Key slot and two full-size mPCIe slots, supporting 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GNSS modules without altering the core hardware platform. Storage is configurable via one M.2 2280 NVMe/SATA SSD slot plus a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay, letting integrators size storage to the application.

Power and environmental robustness are addressed through an 8-35V DC wide-voltage input with built-in ignition power control, allowing the system to manage vehicle power cycling without external circuitry. The fanless chassis is rated for -40°C to 70°C operation, and the platform carries E-Mark and EN 50155 EMC (EN 50121) certification, positioning it for compliance-driven rail and road vehicle deployments.
